We are Leeds University Union's Music Society and have 10 different ensembles varying from our Symphony Orchestra to Composers Collective.

拉拉·瓦森伯格

伊麗莎白狄克遜

比比·托馬斯·甘達拉
Bibi目前是二年級音樂學士學位的學生，愛好彈鋼琴。最初來自Tunbridge Wells，她的音樂之旅始於5歲時開始上鋼琴課，但直到16歲時，她才真正決定認真對待它！在利茲大學學習的第一年，Bibi是LUUMS的熱心成員，是交響管弦樂團和交響合唱團的成員。由於她在LUUMS的第一年是如此出色，因此她決定為社會秘書服務！通常，您會在音樂廳，練習室或Laidlaw中找到Bibi。當Bibi不做音樂時，她很可能會做Woodhouse Moor Parkrun，吃著Tesco's的45p波旁威士忌或試圖找到最便宜的燕麥奶。

莉迪亞·赫頓（Lydia Hutton）
Lydia目前是可愛的ole Liverpool的音樂/音樂學士學位的第三年。莉迪亞（Lydia）來自一個音樂世家，她注定會彈奏樂器，坦率地說，她在7歲時選擇了大提琴，她只是想與姐姐和拉小提琴的爸爸有所不同！在她的第一年和第二年，她都是交響樂團的熱心成員，第二年，她決定拓展業務，將自己的手轉到黃銅和音樂會樂隊中進行打擊樂。 Lydia很高興能開始擔任LUUMS主管一職，並幫助保持社會現狀！您可以通過在筆記本電腦上進行某種社交媒體設計而在工作中拖延的音樂廳找到Lydia，也可以在老酒吧與土豆堆和一品脫相伴中找到Lydia！

布萊·史黛西

Bea Derrick (she/her)
Bea Derrick (she/her) is a second year music student from Manchester. She began playing the clarinet and piano around 8 years old and picked up the alto sax at 16. She loved being apart of many ensembles growing up, including Stockport Youth Orchestra and jazz bands where she’s performed in many concerts across Manchester from the RNCM to various jazz clubs. As well as performing, Bea loves studying all aspects of music even freakishly enjoying taking grade 8 music theory. She’s loved being part of LUUMS in the past year, performing with SWO, symphony orchestra and concert band and can’t wait for another year where she hopes as Publicity Officer she can continue to make Luums fun, inclusive and accessible!

山姆·布羅基特
Sam是利茲大學的BMus大學二年級學生。儘管她5歲開始小提琴，但是當她開始薩克斯管和唱歌時，她對音樂充滿了熱情。在她的第一年，她是SWO的成員，但迫不及待地想要參加今年的更多演出！她期待組織許多激動人心的活動，並與新的執行團隊合作！

羅米·里奇
Romy是利茲大學音樂與音樂心理學的二年級學生。羅米（Romy）雖然音樂愛好濃厚，但並未嘗試學習鋼琴和小提琴，並且在12歲時意識到雙簧管是她的真實稱呼，因為事實是，演奏“稀有”樂器意味著她將始終獲得獨奏（即使只是在調弦樂隊...）。 Romy在第一年就非常喜歡在交響樂團中演奏，並且喜歡成為大學音樂劇中的交響樂團的一員。在演出後的社交活動中，經常會發現她（或聽到她）在Old Bar喝一品脫太多。羅米（Romy）擔任社會秘書一職，目的是最終有一個理由讓更多的音樂家獲得她的熱情。她很高興能通過非酒精和酒精社交活動幫助第一年在LUUMS中受到歡迎。
Wellbeing and Inclusivity Rep
El Cragg (she/her)
El (She/Her) is currently studying Music and Music Psychology in her 2nd year at the University of Leeds. She started playing the violin when she was 4. By the age of 11 she had completed 5 music grades on violin, been offered a place at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and accepted a place at Chetham’s School of Music. From age 11 to 16, she attended Chetham’s School of Music where she reached the final of the annual Chamber Music Competition with her trio, played as member in one of the orchestras playing Laura Rossi’s piece to mark 100 years since The Battle of The Somme and has played in venues such as The Imperial War Museum (Manchester), Manchester Cathedral, Stoller Hall and Bridgewater Hall.
During her time as a student at Chetham’s, El found her passion lay with Chamber Music and Community Music. In her last few years, she went to several schools with members of staff to bring the music of different countries to primary school children after having the experience of playing for children with special needs and in a care home.
After leaving Manchester, she went to Kendal College where she started playing in bands and enjoyed dabbling with the world of Rock and Pop. From 17-19, El took part in several creative projects where she contributed violin parts and musical ideas for film and live events as well as playing in a pit orchestra for Phantom of The Opera.
At University, El has enjoyed her time as part of String orchestra, Symphony Orchestra and additional string ensembles for student organized concert. She has also taken part in a few LUUMIC projects and hopes to involve herself with more of this in her 2nd year. She is very excited to curate the new role of wellbeing and inclusivity executive and hopes to bring a fresh approach to the relationship between students, music and individuality.
